What it is
Coriander seeds were found in Tutankhamun’s tomb, making it one of the oldest herbs humans carry with them. A single gene decides its fate on your tongue: for most it sings of citrus, for the unlucky few it tastes of soap.
In the kitchen
Leaves and seeds are two different ingredients: the leaf is a finishing herb, the seed a warm spice. Never swap one for the other.
