What it is
Cooked grape must works its way down a battery of casks — oak, cherry, chestnut, mulberry, juniper — each year giving a little to the barrel below and taking a little from the one above, for twelve years at the very least. Every bottle the tasting panel passes is sold in the same 100 ml bulb, a shape drawn by the car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro.
In the kitchen
It is already cooked, so it goes on at the table and never in the pan: a scant teaspoon over parmesan, strawberries or a rib of beef once it is off the fire. Anything you would pour is not this product.
